Caddon View small hotel and restaurant in Innerleithen, Scottish Borders Mixing luxury accommodation with wonderful food in a romantic location, a warm welcome awaits you from Lisa and Steve at Caddon View. Enjoy a relaxing break in our beautifuly decorated 4-star licensed country house with restaurant (Tuesday to Saturday, booking essential), in Innerleithen, near Peebles, in the Scottish Borders.

Give yourselves one of the best short breaks in the Tweed Valley - whether it's a long weekend walking the Southern Upland Way; mountain biking at Glentress mountain biking centre; fishing the upper Tweed; golfing at Cardrona or visiting Traquair House, the Scottish Borders is a little bit of undiscovered Scotland.

As quoted in the Sunday Herald: "...The mood inside is relaxing, from the moment Steve greets me at the door to the point when I sit down for dinner, freshly prepared by his wife Lisa.  The food would hold its own in a city restaurant, and the menu reflects the makeover the couple have given this Victorian home since taking over in April 2007:  fresh, comfortably modern and entirely welcoming."

Originally the Doctor's house, built in the 1850's, Caddon View is now an extremely comfortable and individual bed and breakfast, which feels more like a small hotel, where our personal service and attention to detail in relaxed surroundings are guaranteed. You'll feel a sense of well-being the moment you step inside.

If this is your first visit to this beautiful part of Scotland, we hope it won't be your last. Innerleithen makes a great base to explore the Scottish Borders, which many people miss in their rush to Edinburgh and the North. There are all sorts of things to do and discover.

Homecoming Scotland 2009 Peeblesshire2009 is the year to celebrate Homecoming Scotland.  If you are an ancestral Scot, or simply love Scotland, we invite you to come home and celebrate with us in your homeland.  2009 is a celebration of Robert Burns, the 250th anniversary of our national poet, and also some of Scotlands other great contributions to the world: golf, whisky, great Scottish minds and ancestry. We look forward to seeing you here soon.
