 Innerleithen Golf Course

This is an attractive course that enjoys quite magnificent surroundings. Set in the Leithen Valley there are views of the local countryside, while the River Leithen comes into play on no less than four holes. The course was designed in 1886 by three times Open Champion Willie Park and to this day still presents a worthy challenge.

There are several small burns that meander across the rest of the course. At the first hole the road, the river and a burn combine to make an extremely tricky opening hole. If you happen to go through the back, then more water is waiting for your ball.

 Peebles Golf Course

Peebles, located in the Scottish borders, is one of the most picturesque courses in Scotland. It is shadowed by the rolling Border hills and Tweed valley, set high above the beautiful town of Peebles. The clubhouse balcony overlooks the par three first hole and provides the ideal location for relaxation after your round.

An excellent challenge for all golfers, with a par of 70 and measuring over 6, 100-yards, the tough opening holes are balanced by a more generous stretch where the eighth and ninth lead you back down the hill towards the clubhouse. The back nine starts off fairly gently until the difficult 14th, culminating in an very testing finish to an enjoyable round.

 Cardrona Golf Course

Cardrona is a championship length mix of parkland and woodland at 6, 900-yards. Signature holes include a trio of delights on the front nine.

With water left and right of the green, the par three 5th is a suitably equipped card wrecker.

The next, a par five, requires a carry over a burn into a narrow landing area while trying to avoid large fairway bunkers. The seventh is another feature hole. A dog-leg to the right with another narrow drive will see you stuck between taking on the woodland to the right, or playing safe to the left and avoiding more sand traps.
