Caddon View - Luxury Accommodation

Weddings

If you are having a small wedding then Caddon View is an ideal place to host your celebration. You can hire Caddon View exclusively for parties of 15 for as many nights as you require. Please note that we do not hold a license to hold weddings here but Traquair House or Peebles Registry Office are close by.

Our Drawing Room is ideal for champagne and canapés after your wedding ceremony followed by a seated, candlelit dinner in our Dining Room which is set with white linen.  We will be able to provide you with a piper, should you wish one, and also supply florists details as well as local wedding cake makers. Our premises are not suitable for a dance, or ceilidh, or wedding celebrations of a much larger kind.  We will tailor your day to your exact requirements so please contact us.

Celebrations

Be it a birthday party or engagement party, whatever you are celebrating, why not have a celebratory evening meal at Caddon View. We will tailor a menu to suit you and can match it with suitable wines, should you wish.  Just let us know your requirements and we can together come up with the ideal party.

Whats On Locally

The Mighty Deer Stalker -  17th March 2012 (minimum 2 night stay)

The Deerstalker is an "adventure run" with distance options at 5 km (ish) and 10 km (and a bit). It's described affectionately as a "big, muddy romp" through the countryside, forests and hills around the famous Borders village of Innerleithen.  After a sell out success in 2011 why not don the tweed, and unleash your legs on an even bigger Deerstalker in 2012.

one of the largest gatherings of horses in Europe, up to 400 riders set out on a 12 mil ride on Friday morning amidst parades led by the town bands.  The spectacular gallop back into town is followed by the famous Casting of the Colours ceremony in the town Market Place.  Selkirk is approximately 20 minutes from Innerleithen by car.
