I used Innerleithen as my base, and uncovered a gem
of a place called the Caddon View. It's a small hotel
run by a Frenchman called Amar and his wife Elena. I've
been fortunate enough to have eaten in some of Scotland's
best hotels, but the food and atmosphere in the Caddon
View would be hard to beat.
