One thing you really need when you're having a family holiday, or an activity holiday, is a good night's sleep. You can rest assured that our rooms are roomy and our beds are too.
The downstairs bedroom sleeps three, but we can also provide a cot for families with younger children who want to avoid stairs. The en-suite has a toilet and shower, so if you're sharing the lodge as separate couples, or with older family members, this room is ideal.
Family planning
We all know that travelling with young families is like waging some ambitious military campaign, with enough baggage and supplies to sustain a small army for weeks. When you're self-catering, it's even more of an operation. Here at Caddon View, there is plenty of room to unpack and still see the carpet! All the rooms have lots of drawer space, hanging space, bedside tables and big, bright windows you can open to let in some of that fresh Scottish Borders air.
Up and away
Even if you're on a "grown up" holiday, you may be wanting to bring all sorts of equipment - bikes, fishing rods, wet-weather gear - and the storeroom-come-laundry is an excellent size to store all these items. There's space to park the car right outside making for easy loading and unloading.

Because the lodge is so roomy, it's a great place to base yourself for an outdoors holiday with some of your favorite people. Each room is much more spacious than anything else you'll find in the area, so groups can share the cost of a week of fun and adventure, and the pleasure of each other's company. Come and go as you please.
